The sunny weather on Saturday morning attracted about a hundred extra participants to the 32nd edition of the Acht van Langezwaag. In total, 360 participants set off for the race over various distances: 5, 10, 16.1, and 21.1 kilometers, along with the kids' run. Runners could count on lukewarm water at the refreshment stations along the way, and at the finish, there was fruit and broth to replenish energy levels. Despite the strong wind, it was excellent dry running weather, and the longer routes led to Bontebok and Oranjewoud, while the shorter routes stayed near Langezwaag and Jonkerslân.
